Elisha Ann Cuthbert (born November 30, 1982) is a Canadian film and television actress. Cuthbert is known as the former co-host of the Canadian children's television series Popular Mechanics for Kids. She had her first film role in the 1998 feature film Airspeed. She followed this up in 2003 with a role in Old School and starred the following year in The Girl Next Door. She has also had starring roles in the 2005 House of Wax film and the 2007 horror film Captivity. Her most prominent role is as Kim Bauer in the American action-thriller television series 24.
Elisha Cuthbert plays the danger-prone Kim Bauer on TV's hit show 24. Born November 30, 1982, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Cuthbert won the Gemini Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Dramatic Program or Mini-Series for her role in Lucky Girl, in 2001. In 1997, the former foot model became a correspondent for the award-winning series, Popular Mechanics for Kids, a part she carried for two years. Later she also performed in Nickolodeon's Are You Afraid of the Dark?. Among her movies are Dancing on the Moon, Airspeed, Love, Actually, The Girl Next Door, Captivity and The Six Wives of Henry Lefay

Cuthbert was chosen Maxim magazine's Hottest Woman of the Year for 2003 and she can usually be found on the lists of sexiest/hottest female celebrities in Maxim, FHM and AskMen.com.
